The results of the 22nd Industrial Energy Efficiency Project Competition (SENVER), a competition organized by the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources to award energy-efficient and environmentally friendly projects of industrial enterprises, have been announced. According to the results, Tatmetal has ranked first in the 1001 - 50000 TEP category with its one-year performance.

Organized to enable the development, promotion, and spreading of new technologies, allow the information-sharing between industrial enterprises, and promote new and similar projects about energy efficiency, The Industrial Energy Efficiency Project Competition (SENVER) awards energy- and environment-focused projects of industrial enterprises.

Tatmetal has shown great success and ranked first in the 1001 - 50000 TEP category of the competition, which is organized by the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources for the 22nd time, with its energy-efficiency efforts in the one-year period. The winning project of Tatmetal, “Shortening the Annealing Cycle Times,” had saved 352.485 sm3 of natural gas and 587.475 kWh of electricity, while the total saved energy was calculated as 340 TEP. Tatmetal’s reward was presented by Mr. Fatih Dönmez, the Minister of Energy and Natural Resources.

Having previously ranked 2nd at SENVER in 2017 and first in 2018, Tatmetal continues its environment- and efficiency-focused efforts with a sustainability-based approach.
